I will know Food Lion here and I love shopping there been doing it since you've been built, Happy New Year
It's a good little grocery store because it's the only one on Carolina Beach. But it has a limited selection compared to the larger stores in Wilmington. And sometimes some of the staff are not that friendly. The manager is really nice though.
I was embarrassed to observe a fellow customer publicly harassed and physically threatened by a cashier. The store manager did not intervene, I heard the fellow patron tell the cashier he had recently undergone heart surgery. She even told him to report her, that it wouldn't matter and he could go elswhere to shop. The patron was a senior citizen and was visibly shaken by this woman. Scary customer service. I went back in the store bout a week later and that cashier continues to work there. I was taught to respect my elders and treat other people with compassion. Visitors beware of hateful cashier at Food Lion in Carolina Beach. I now shop elsewhere when on Carolina Beach.
Prices are reasonable, more so than Whole Foods or Lowes. Workers are polite and usually help with check out. Has sales every day.
Food Lion is a great place , witness a wonderful thing they do for the community. Thank you Food Lion. When you shop with food Lion remember a portion of your spending go to help feed others , they do give back .
