I got oysters & shrimp. Not that good. Cold. I don't care forCalabash style fried seafood. Fries were good. Wish they had broiled seafood. The Tiki Bar on the pier and view of the ocean is worth it. Our server was very nice and helpful.
Thank you for excellent service to the manager and staff. May I see my sister, 4 year old niece and I had dinner there this evening the food was awesome. We had and altercation with 2 other customers husband and wife who were intoxicated and rude to us told my 4 yr old niece to shut up for laughing then said some very inappropriate things to us one being a racist remark and the staff took immediate action to the situation and the manager who did not tolerate their behavior which they also mistreated the staff as well but the Ocean Grill team kept it professional and sent those two out the door I hope the manager is ok because the wife did assault him by hitting at him and he kept call. You guys are awesome best customer service ever as well as our waiter

The service there was wonderful. Very friendly. It's a bit hard to find the entrance though. That was interesting. The view of the beach was great. I ate in the afternoon, but I think the evening would have been even better. The prices were pretty average, so not too bad. The crab and squid were cooked well. Nice and soft. Overall it was very nice.
But the real problem for me was that it was not accessible. From the parking lot to the nearest entrance where is the narrow wooden walkway. I had to get help to go up the steps to get into the restaurant. There may have been more of the walkway to get in but I couldn't go any further. People inside the restaurant could see me. No one offered to help me get in.
Horrible food. Looked like a cool spot to eat. Had the fish tacos. Chips were stale and the whole meal was not edible. My husband had the burger his was great. Service was mediocre. My son ordered flounder. His was dry and not edible either. The waitress never even asked if there was anything wrong when she took our plates uneaten away.would not recommend
The food is good and I feel like the selection is good. I have actually had the ribs there on one occasion when I didn’t feel like eating seafood and they were great. One thing I didn’t like was not being served hush puppies with the food. I think they’re available at extra cost. Also the seats could be more comfortable. They do have broiled available if you don’t like fried, but it does cost extra. I definitely like this restaurant and would eat there again, but it’s not my very favorite at Carolina Beach. That would be Jack Mackerals.
