This was a good experience. For a smaller budget the room was basic but clean. The staff was great! The distance to the beach is less than a football field. This is not a hotel but an excellent motel!
The room was smaller but clean and we never saw any bugs. We spent most of our time not in the room anyway. The beds were comfortable and as mentioned everything was clean. We checked in close to midnight the first night and had to call a number to get someone there but we only waited about 10 minutes and they insisted we check out the room before we rented it. We ended up staying there the entire trip. It's location cannot be beat. Right in the middle of everything and directly across the street from the boardwalk.
My family and I spent the weekend here for Memorial Day weekend. The location is great, but our room was not a good experience. The mattresses were stained, and so were the bed sheets and pillows. I am very happy we took our own covers for backup. The bathrooms were very dirty, and so were the floors. Bathrooms looked like you could catch a STD. Had to use disinfecting wipes and wear sandles in the shower. I thank God we did not find any bed bugs or roaches. Our TV did not work. The AC was horrible. Kept blowing very dirty air and a nasty smell. I wouldn't recommend for anyone who have children. Super unsanitary! People walking around looking for drugs.
Not a far walk to the beach. Rooms are cleaned with fabulouso and have a strange smell. There was sand in my sheets on the first night. Very small bathrooms. Shower is a faucet coming out of the wall. Didn't see any bugs.
Customer service was great. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Our room was well kept and NO bugs were seen at all. Beds including mattresses and pillows are kept n plastic zipped bags for sanitation. I had four children in our room and was pleased with the environment and was given a room with three double beds which I was very pleased with! Overall this was a great place for us to finish up our last few days at the beach and we will return again soon.
